🎓 Dr. Miller (Professor)

Governments around the world spend billions of dollars on space exploration. Proponents argue that this research leads to scientific breakthroughs that benefit humanity. Critics, however, argue that this money would be better spent solving urgent problems on Earth, such as poverty, disease, and climate change.

What is your opinion? Is space exploration a worthwhile investment, or should governments prioritize solving problems on Earth?

👨 David

I think space exploration is essential. It inspires us and leads to technologies we use every day, like GPS and medical devices. Also, looking for other habitable planets might be necessary for the long-term survival of the human race. We shouldn't stop exploring just because we have problems here.

👩 Maria

I disagree with David. The cost is simply too high. We have people starving and suffering from preventable diseases right now. It seems irresponsible to spend vast fortunes on Mars missions when we can't even take care of our own planet and people. We should fix Earth first.
