Mandatory Health and Safety Inspections
Resident Advisors (RAs) and staff will conduct mandatory room inspections in all residence halls from Monday, April 15 through Friday, April 19, between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
The purpose of these inspections is to ensure compliance with university fire and sanitation codes. Staff will be checking for prohibited items (such as candles, incense, and space heaters) and general cleanliness.
Important:
Residents do not need to be present during the inspection. Staff members will knock first, announce themselves, and use a master key to enter if no one is home. A notification slip will be left on your desk indicating the result of the inspection.
Please ensure your floor area is clear of clutter to allow staff to inspect the room efficiently.
